A friend ask me for a birthday cake for his wife and it was a good chance to work with flowers. So I came up with an idea of a basket full of beautiful colorful flowers that she could keep, over a chocolate mud cake filled and covered with ganache. Newbie in making flowers (my third attempt I think) and I tried to pay attention to leaves textures, thickness, colors, I even paint with cocoa butter the Calla Lily and it was such a beautiful experience! Well I truly enjoyed it a lot,being in the Spring mood… and I hope you like it too.
