Using Satin Ice’s new navy fondant was a dream! I remember the days of kneading and color mixing until my arms were sore just to get the right shade of navy. Not any more! I think the navy fondant made it possible to finish this cake in nearly half of the time.

This was inspired by the invitations for the event and the colors: rich navy and burgundy jewel tones and gilded accents. The vibe was a combination of rich and rustic with gold and crystal embellishments taking place at a perfectly restored farm estate.
