Life ain’t a bed of roses, we know! But how about a cake on a bed of roses?

A beautiful all white cake with touches of gold and lots of handcrafted sugar roses for an engagement ceremony.

Making so many roses at one go was a task in itself, and it took up most of my time on this cake. This was also my first try at hand-piping royal icing patterns on the bottom tier. The piping and pressure control was a challenge again and it did leave my arm numb for sometime. The final cake however took my heart away <3
