Mardi Gras cake in miniature

Miniature Mardi Gras cake made to celebrate the Mardi Gras season in my hometown of New Orleans. Cake & stand are made entirely of gumpaste, all hand painted, & is approximately 5" in height including the stand. As always, I thank you for looking 😊😊

Thank you so very much too Sandra!! I did order me a magnifying contraption from Amazon to help me see better. It will help me see details not only for projects like this but for bigger cakes as well 🤣🤣

Thanks so much Bonnie!! “Props” were courtesy of my grandson’s years of Mardi Gras parade loot 😂😂 Think my fave is the Barqs rootbeer bottle beads. May have to attempt to recreate that in isomalt someday 😊
