I was delighted to take part in my first Bakerswood Cake challenge – a catalog of fantastic creatures! For my part, I made a “Sylph” — she is a spirit of the air and controller of the air and wind. She is sometimes depicted as a cloud with form. I wanted to capture her lightness and airiness and so I have made her with rainbow hair, floating above the clouds.
