I had the great honor to participate with 80 amazing talented sugar artists in the FANTASTIC CREATURES CHALLENGE, hosted by Maria Mercedes Gonzalez Lagarma.

My piece is known as
" Drider: Spawn from a drow who has been disowned by his goddess. It lies with them a curse that transforms the bottom of his body into a giant spider."

Figure made in satin ice fondant and satin ice gum paste for this collaboration. The piece is mounted with a structure of floral wires and also colored with rainbow dust powder and Americolor.
