An alternative to making sugar flowers. Petals set but doesnt completely dry. It stays flexible for weeks and weeks. Isn’t prone to breaking or tearing. Transluscent and fragrant. Smells and behaves like real flowers!
Alla prima Flower-making Technique; can be done in one sitting. No individual wiring of petals. Can be cut and veined. Will hold its shape without overnight drying.
FLEXIPaste can be made in advance. Storage lifespan: 6 mos up, room temp, no refrigeration needed. WILL NOT MOLD.
Ingredients available in your local baking supply stores.
Costing about 70 pesos ($1.40 US) per 700 grams.
Yield: About 9-10 large flowers.
No baking, no cooking, no setting. Can be used right away.
Vegan friendly- no eggs no dairy.
