What a wonderful way to kick off the new year – my first ever tutorial, for Cake Masters magazine!

Was completely caught by surprise when I was invited to contribute a tutorial for the One Tier Wonders issue, but super excited at the opprtunity. I took Inspiration from the vivid and cheerful neo-pop art of Romero Britto, and felt this would be perfect to usher in the new year, with hopes and wishes for a 2018 that’s filled with much colour and love! (we need so much more of this in our current global climate).

The full step-by-step tutorial includes how-tos for the fondant cake panels and 3D dog and “LOVE” toppers. I think it’ll be perfect for Valentine’s day ❤️… and the Chinese Lunar New Year, as we welcome in the Year of the Dog 🐕!
