This is a decoration made from two designs which date back to the early 1900’s. I have used pastilage coloured black and then hand cut the design using an nurses knife with a very sharp and pointy blade. One all four pieces were very dry and hard, I ‘glued’ them together using some black royal icing and then dusted the whole thing with black petal dust! The scenes depict the joy of giving a gift without the need to receive one in return!
