As part of the ‘Operation Cookie Takeover’, I was assigned to Sgt. Kalib Price who is currently deployed onboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71). This Marine and his fellow ‘Rough Riders’ will be enjoying some sugar cookies that were covered with modeling chocolate and then decorated with Royal Icing. The USS Theodore Roosevelt, nicknamed the ‘Big Stick’, travels at speeds exceeding 30+ knots (56+ km/h; 35+ mph) out in the ocean carrying 90 fixed wing aircraft and helicopters, as well as almost 5000 souls. Decorated to look like ‘turkeys’ :) with THANKS to all the Marines onboard the ‘Big Stick’.
