The Magical Dragon machine saw circa 70 worldwide sugar artists come together to create the exhibit for Cake International 2017. Mechanics abounded in this display including the dragon himself who toe tapped in time to the music, revolved his head and flapped his wings. He also snorted smoke. On the last day the cake that he contained was cut by a representative from Coffee for Craig to be distributed among the homeless people around Manchester.
The 9" long Go Kart was created using home made pastillage and was free wheeling. Mole was created using The Cake Dutchess (sponsor) modelling paste and dressed using Saracino. I am particularly proud of the wood effect that I achieved for this small piece and hope to find the time to do a short tutorial very soon.
