I love really simple cakes with a single striking detail so I really enjoyed making this two tier wedding cake. I created a cascade of ruffled roses with graded colour from deep turquoise in the centre, through ice blue and with white petals on the edges. Inside, the cake was a classic Madagascan vanilla on the base and chocolate marble cake on the top.
