Hi everyone,
There’s nothing more motivating for me than a client who says: " I want a different kind of christening cake, let your imagination run wild " :-). The idea behind this cake comes from Flavio’s mother who is a children’s entertainer and plays a fairy role in her shows. For the elf I got some inspiration from web illustrations and from material supplied by the client.
I loved making and coloring the tree bark without using any moulds… rather time consuming but very satisfying.
Cake was serving 25, vanilla sponge with chantilly and strawberries filling.
