My inspiration for this design was heavily influenced by the architecture and ambiance of Puerto Rico which was one of the port of calls on the 2017 Crazy Cake Cruise. The cobblestone roads, alleys and paths truly captured my imagination. Walking in Old San Juan, the ancient masonry seemed to whisper ideas in my ear and I felt transported back to the 17th Century. The simplicity was beautiful beyond words and yet the durability or the architecture was anything but simple, intricate and time tested.
