Wedding cakes for my dear friends who are getting married today. Wittaya is from Thailand and Larry from Canada so they asked for an “East Meets West” theme. The pillow cake with orchids represents Thailand and the Maple tree and leaf Canada. But I so love the topper. I found them in different places but they both fit, the elephant for Wittaya and the Moose for Larry. I know they will get a kick from it. Wittaya’s favorite flower is Hydrangea so I added a few of those as well. An elephant with a raised trunk means Joy and this is a joyous occasion.

Thank you friends. I am home from the reception and they did love their cakes and were so happy that I tied their countries together and they loved the topper.

Thank you everyone. Just heard from the couple and they said the cakes were delicious, always good to hear. I know we don’t post photos of people so feel free to delete if needed. It is just such a great picture of Wittaya and Larry in their western tuxedo jackets with their Traditional Thai wedding pants and socks. And the beautiful San Francisco city hall background. “East Meets West”
