This was my entry in our local cake club show this weekend. The theme was Masquerade Ball and I based mine on Marie Antoinette and the palace of Versailles. Happy to say it took first place in the wedding cake division. Front of cake has candy sixlets for buttons. Back of cake is laced up corset.

Thank you so much friends. I am not just being coy when I say I wasn’t expecting a first place. I saw flaws that I thought they would use to take points away. I would have been satisfied to simply place. When I saw the blue ribbon I was kind of stunned. Stunned but happy!
