For almost a decade my kids have been members of Karate club. Last weekend we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the club and I had the pleasure of making the cake to mark this very special occasion. Human anatomy is my favourite subject to sculpt and what can be better than that all the three kids helping me out with the intricacies of Karate posture, the move and even the belt knot.

The gravity defying figure is made out of modelling chocolate.The cake is a moist chocolate sponge cake, with hazelnut chocolate-cream filling and is covered with Italian Meringue Buttercream.

Seit fast 10 Jahren sind meine Kinder Mitglieder des Karate Clubs . Letztes Wochenende feierte der Karate Club sein 25-jähriges Bestehen. Und ich hatte das Vergnügen für dieses Event eine Spezielle Torte zu kreieren. Die menschliche Anatomie ist einer meiner liebsten Themen. Und was könnte besser sein als dass meine Kinder mir mit diversen Posen aushelfen.

Thank you all for your kind words… Yes Calli, kids were very happy with my contribution to their club. Besides, they had been guiding me througout the project and that helped me indeed. It was more of a teamwork…..
