I am very found of Japan and japanese culture, especially love the secret world of geishas and their art. Ever since I was a little child, i feelt the japanese traditional music was special, calm and different. I choosed to make a Geisha and her shamisen. Is something different of what I usually make, as modelling big human faces is not easy for me( have a lot to learn ) but wanted to challange myself. I decorated my cake with Freeformed sugar Wisteria flowers and Freeformed Cymbidium Orchids
This year it gathered 37 cake and sugar artists from all over the world to celebrate International Day of Music in the sweetest way. We tried to cover the cultural aspect of music made around the world, representing music genres and instruments from all over the world.

You can see all the creations together in our gallery, as well as the individual albums with details of every piece.
For each piece there is a video that illustrates somehow the presented piece, so you can not only appreciate the beauty of the creation as well as the music itself.
There will also be also a video with all the pieces together.
