A custom designed, Baroque inspired architectural masterpiece!
The brief from the bride stated that it had to be a grand, opulent, edible creation- Challenge accepted!
Thousands of hand made sugar flowers and leaves, ornate moldings, featuring columns, arches, lace and cherubs, all adorned this 8 tier wonder.
The cake tiers were all traditional fruit cake, so my kitchen smelled heavenly for a few days- like Christmas in August :)
24 inch round, 18 inch hexagon, 12 inch round and 6 inch round were the real cake tiers.
