And this is my work for “Under the Sea Sugar Art Collaboration”.Thank you so much Jennifer Kennedy O’Friel for having put this Collaboration together, and for the reunion of such amazing talented artists. Thank you for having invited me to be part of it,. t’s an honor.

My cookie is decorated with colored Royal Icing and dusted with lustre dust. This mermaid cookie represents the tale of a beautiful and curious mermaid called Sarah. Sarah has special powers which allow her to turn into a human for a few hours each day. She does this with the help of her giant oyster and it’s pearl.
With my cookie, I focused on creating volumes and textures thereby bringing out the 3 D effect, while telling her story.
