Wafer Paper Butterfly and Campanulas

I made this small butterfly and the campanulas for the sugar art collaboration “The Flutter” on Facebook.

The flowers and the wings are made from wafer paper, which is hand painted. The body of the butterfly is sugar and its legs are made of floral wire. It is so light that it can sit on the flowers by its own like a real butterfly.

For this picture I added my little butterfly to a photo I made of a magical evening sky:
