Inspired by Liz Marek’s amazing Kintsugi geode cake from the Sugar Geek Show. The bride LOVED amethyst & wanted geodes incorporated, especially because her father had recently passed, & he had given her a beautiful amethyst geode. She said she trusted me, & I had design freedom. All cake except the ‘stalactite & stalagmite’ tier. Dark chocolate cake with blackberry filling, made from those HUGE 2-inch-long blackberries, so good!
