This was made for a lady who plays bowls professionally. The model was made from Saracino paste. The little snail represents her husband who died a little while ago and who is affectionately represented at all family occasions by a smiling snail (his name was Brian for those of you who remember The Magic Roundabout). How lovely! I love that our cakes are so completely bespoke x
