Cakeflix collaboration, Princess Leia

My piece is inspired by Princess Leia, in the scene where Jabba the Hutt has her imprisoned. It belongs to the movie Star Wars episode VI: Return of the Jedi

I could not pass up the opportunity to do something about this saga since I’m a super fan of it!

For the collaboration I wanted to leave my comfort zone and perform a realistic human modeling. For me it has been a great challenge, since; Besides not having been able to spend as much time as I would have liked; Is a job that I do not usually perform. Normally the models that I have done, apart from not being so realistic, have been larger. But this particular, has had the added difficulty of being small, so it took me quite to draw the features and details.
I have had problems of course, but I have learned a lot and I like more this type of modeling. I love chocolate!

The internal structure is made in RKT For the outside I have used plastic chocolate (homemade) The final pieces like the bikini or headdress are made in fondant. I used colorants powder and liquid paint for the color.

Colaboración Cakeflix, Princesa Leia

Mi pieza esta inspirada en la princesa Leia, en la escena en que Jabba del Hutt la tiene prisionera. Pertenece a la película Star Wars episodio VI: El retorno del Jedi
No podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de hacer algo sobre esta saga ya que soy super fan de ella!

Para la colaboración he querido salir de mi zona de confort y realizar un modelado humano realista. Para mi ha supuesto un gran reto, ya que; además de no haberle podido dedicar tanto tiempo como me hubiera gustado; es un trabajo que no suelo realizar. Normalmente los modelados que he hecho, a parte de no ser tan realistas, han sido de mayor dimensión. Pero este en concreto, ha tenido la dificultad añadida de ser pequeño, por lo que me ha costado bastante sacar los rasgos y los detalles.
Se me han presentado problemas como es lógico, pero he aprendido muchísimo y cada vez me gusta más este tipo de modelados. Adoro el chocolate plástico!!

La estructura interna esta realizada en RKT Para la parte externa he utilizado chocolate plástico (casero) Las piezas finales como el bikini o el tocado están realizadas en fondant. Para el color he usado colorantes en polvo y pintura liquida.
