When I was invited into this AWESOME collab, I knew that I wanted to make a heel and to try new designs and techniques, but make it 100% fun. The sole, heel and eye are made with Isomalt, the eye color is made with wafer paper (underneath the Isomalt) and everything else is made with Satin Ice fondant. Although there were times when I got frustrated with parts breaking off or with having to wait for things to set and dry, I really enjoyed making this heel, and I’m proud of it. It’s sitting in my cake room now so I can stare at it every day! :) Are YOU brave enough to wear it? LOL.
