I made this cake a little while ago. It was inspired by the barn wedding themes in the USA. I am not a country girl at heart, but something about barns and the outdoors just leave me in awe. The bottom tier is a wooden crate decorated tier where I had hope to engrave the couples initials but ran out of time. The middle tier appears to be inspired by all the lace with the country fashion, but is actually inspired by a onesie that my baby girl had on while I was designing the cake. The top tier has the good luck horseshoe hand made out of gum paste. I love baby’s breath and looking at the cake, I should have added more. Hindsight is always 20/20.
