My beautiful daughter is 16 on Monday. A very special birthday. So even though I don’t normally make hardly any cakes, a cake was certainly in order for her sweet 16th ❤️❤️❤️
I made her this peony cake. Inside is a 9 inch red velvet cake.
I stopped counting the petals at 300 plus. And at 1.30 am I decided that I would not make a butterfly but use a fake one.
The butterfly was to signify her the peony to signify her mum and and her Grandma’s love.
There is a photo of it when we cut it as well.

I have made an english rose cake but it was in white so I would like to make more flower cakes and tutorials on how to make them as well. I would have to simplify them for tutorials but I think flower cakes are wonderful and would love to teach them as well as my flowers.
