This is my first attempt at Italian buttercream, requested by the bride who wanted a sample cake. this is an 8-inch round layer cake. I am so used to working with american buttercream, that this was completely a new experience for me. This icing is melt in your mouth delectable! i didn’t even have to use a spatula dipped in water to smooth the icing. It also pipes flowers like silk. I hope u like this cake, i just added a wave pattern to the top, beaded boarders, and a few roses and leaves in all white. Thanks for looking and love to hear from those that have made this icing as well.
