Our cake as part of the #sugarart4autism collaboration. It is a replica of a drawing by a young boy depicting his experiences with autism. My autistic son helped me to create this for him because his experiences were very similar. He explains it as your brain being divided into many pieces each focusing on something different. At school, the teacher talking, the lights humming, a kid tapping a pencil, a fly buzzing around, janitor sweeping the hallway etc etc etc. The star represents Luuk’s imaginary friend.
