Celebrating the 90th birthday for a Greek gentleman who loves his garden and olive tree. Ordered by his daughter in law who had very clear ideas about what she wanted the cake to represent and depict, we worked on a design that we thought the birthday boy would love. The result is an abundance of fondant modelled tomatoes, pumpkins, olives, zucchini, eggplant, lemons, carrots and curly Endives – hand painted. The olive tree is hand modelled fondant over florist wires and royal icing for the details. What a great experience this cake was :)
