These Cakes were created for a Cake Dive Contest held in Thunder Bay at the Wedding Show.
Ten brides were chosen by our local radio station to have a chance of winning the grand prize package worth $7700.00 The contestants then had to come up on stage at the end of the wedding show and stand around the cakes/cupcakes. On the count of three they had to dig in, destroy them and find the ring. The person who found the ring won the grand prize package, it was so fun to watch.

They are beautiful, but I hate the idea of destroying someone’s hard work and talent just for entertainment. I hope the compensation made it worthwhile!

Very pretty…very novel idea. Ashame the cakes got destroyed. Would have been kinda fun to see the “after” pictures!!
