This is a dummy cakes I did a couple of weeks ago. Was trying to do a coralette dahlia but I am not happy with it at all and it is going straight in the trash. Broke some of the petals and had to repair. Think I have lost my flower mojo. Was going to try to make something else but not in the mood.

The color scheme was more because of the color of the old fondant I had on hand. Mixed it with some other colors and this is the result.

I think that the colors go nicely together and that it looks awesome! Shame that you threw away the dahlia but just keep practicing…. I can’t even do flowers! ;)

I still think it’s fab Goreti, but I know how it feels when you’re not 100% happy. We’re such harsh critics of our own work but that’s how we move forward. Every now and then we hit a wall but we get over it and your next effort when you’ve re-charged your batteries will be more fulfilling believe me xx
