Hi all…long time no see over here on Cakes Decor! Apologies for all I’ve missed, will attempt a catch up!

Here’s my contribution to the beautiful Sugar Art Museum collaboration.

I’ve long been drawn to the works of Wassily Kandinsky and I was inspired to make this piece by his improvisation works. That’s exactly what I did too – I studied his art and then improvised something whicj would in some small way reflect his unique style.

It’s a mixed media piece incorporating hand painting, airbrushing, royal icing and rather a lot of fun on the fondant with my sugar shapers!

It’s an honour to be amongst such talented artists, many thanks to Bouchra for inviting me and Jamila and Jon for all their hard work too.
