While the other children ran to buy their costume of fairy, princess, cowgirl… I would pick up old clothes from the family and turn them into a beautiful clown costume, accompanied by a wig made of the most garish color wool I could find and smashed my face as best I could with a scrap of make-up that my mother did not wear.
“Lolly Heart” came out of my childhood memories and this time she made up and dressed herself up in satin clothes and a custom-made wig!
