Sakura, which is a Turkish cherry flower, represents rebirth in the Far East …
It is a tree that does not give fruit, and the flowers that slowly open are poured into it. The pink flowers are the beginning of life, the awakening of the nature, that is, the good news of the spring, and the inevitable endings are the symbols … Five-leafed flowers, chances, abundance, long life, joy of life and peaceful symbols. At the same time, your femininity, your freshness, your youthful beauty, the fragility of your innocence and the continuity of your descendant, that is, the woman’s symbol.
The cherry tree represents both the perfect beauty and the quick and painless death of the Japanese culture, as well as the blossoming of flowers.
Suicide pilots called “kamikaze” in the second world war are said to have drawn cherry flowers as figurines before going on their last flight.
According to the belief, the pilots who complete the suicide mission to protect their countries come to the world as cherry flowers in their next life.
In my study I call rebirth Pink cherry flowers symbolize existence while white flowers represent people and children who died in battle.
