I made this cake for one of my best customers, she came to me with a design for her mums birthday and I adapted it to make it unique. The cake itself was 2 different flavours, one made of a chocolate cake, with a raspberry and dark chocolate ganache and the other lemon sponge with a vanilla buttercream and lemon curd filling, both crumb coated in ganache and covered in Couture sugarpaste.
The flowers are made of modelling paste and airrushed with a dinky doodle, the photo is printed on edible paper and the lace is Claire Bowman’s cake lace sprayed with Rolkem gold (Love that stuff)
