Melted snowman cake

I joined my old lab mates on Dec. 19th for a Christmas potluck and my contribution was a simple cake. I used the opportunity to try out a new recipe for eggnog cake and it was soooo good! The melted snowman idea again came from Pinterest . I wanted something easy to “throw together” and that would transport well on the hour long drive. His hat is cake as well and really was the only part I had to be careful/fussy with. He was a hit :-)
