No only am I passionate about saving the bees but this collaboration was such an amazing opportunity to be part of a talented group of cake artists who want to make a difference. This has been such an fantastic experience!
I’ve done the cake in a baroque style influenced by vintage botanical bee sketches and antique etchings of bee hives.
Some fun techniques I’ve tried here for the 1st time…a chocolate bubble wrap effect on the bottom tier and stamping on the middle tier. The bee is hand painted – free hand. The bee hive is RKT.
