This has been one of my most difficult cakes till date .I was given a picture of the little baby ‘s favourite toy which I have attached too (third image )and asked to replicate it for the child’s first birthday .I stared at the picture for the longest time and brain said to say ‘no ’ while heart said ’yes’ .The parents have been my repeat customers and come all the way from the hill districts .So I said ‘yes’ as they said that this is the only cake they wanted and their baby would be very happy .Sometimes when we doubt ourselves due to the difficulty involved and in this case making the cake in cream -it is our passion that pushes and motivates us .Only the wheels are fondant .
It took hours for every curvature to get that smooth finish on cream ,halfway I didn’t think I could complete it .But I did and was so happy to hear that the little baby and entire family was stunned as it looked identical to the toy.
