This cake is for my mother-in-law who’s celebrating her 71st birthday. Pink is her favorite color so I created a cake with various tones of pink on it and used my favorite accent color-GOLD-to add character to the cake. The details on the frame was “sloppily” hand painted to give it a shabby chic look.
