I’ve always been a huge fan of the sugar skull bakers so when I was asked to join this year I was thrilled to bits, even more so because of recent events that had happened in my family. Back in September 2014, we lost my sister after she was rushed into hospital with sepsis. She spent 5 months in the intensive care unit and fought so hard, but sadly she didn’t make it. She was such an amazing, kind and wonderful sister and a fantastic Aunty to both of my children.

My big sisters name is Sarah but we both had knicknames for each other. She called me Boo and I called her Ned! (Don’t ask…..it’s a long story!) She had an amazing sense of humour and loved animals, but especially cats, so here is my tribute to a wonderful lady who had a heart of gold!
