My cousin Lisa asked me to make her 40th birthday cake and had a 50’s themed party to celebrate.
The cake is vanilla and chocolate chequerboard design inside and each tier is over 6" tall. I loved making the groovy jukebox and the record for the top.i used Patchwork cutters for the dancers and attached them to the record. The female dancer decided to jive off the cake overnight and hide in the cake box, giving me a real fright! After an application of Royal icing and a stern talking to,she decided to behave herself!

Thanks Goreti.I don’t suppose you know how to turn the pictures the right way up,do you???x

Good job Karen xx
If you’ve saved the photos in pictures on your computer you can right click and change the rotation on the photo before you attach it if you haven’t already, otherwise not sure. If it’s on you’re phone you can do the same before you blut tooth it to your computer or attach it direct. Usually if you rotate lift I find is best. Hope that works? xx Good luck
