I’ll be attending the PADA – Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Aotearoa High Tea & Depressed Cake Auction on Sunday.

This cake is my contriubution to the auction bringing awareness to anxeity and depression.

My thoughts behind this design were that the love and support of friends and family are very important for those dealing with anxiety and depression. Knowing that on your dark days, someone will be there for you, that you are not alone. That support can come from many ‘branches’.

The original design which inspired me was done by Shawna McGreevy of McGreevy Cakes who gave me permission to use it as inspiration for the cake auction.
