I was delighted to be invited to contribute to this collaboration which is on show this weekend at Dublin’s Light House Cinema to celebrate its screening of universal monsters and David Lynch horror movies.
I drew on the appearance of humanoid rabbits in David Lynch’s Inland Empire to create this slightly more sinister, edible version of Jack Rabbit. Jack is my first bust and is sculpted from modelling chocolate over an internal frame of rice krispie treats and handpainted with cocoa butter and dusts. And finally he was a dressed in gumpaste and fondant with wirey eyelashes and whiskers
Haha, I love it!!
