This collaboration celebrates the Universal Studios monsters. My contribution is the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I chose to recreate the scene where Quasimodo is sentenced to be flogged and turned on the pillory (a device made of metal framework erected on a post used for punishment by public humiliation and physical abuse) for one hour.
I had a REALLY hard time NOT keeping his face in proportion. So looking at him now – I think I could have gone more out of proportion – but I still like. I had fun experimenting with his hair too on this one. Need to play with it a bit more to see if it could work better. The original Quasimodo from the universal films had a mullet – so I chose to go with a shorter cut with this guy instead.
Here’s a video of my piece too. Hope you like it!
