This is a lovely little cake I made this weekend. The cake is adorned with a beautiful handmade sugar paste vintage peony, a strand of fondant pearls that drape over the side and trimmed in fondant lace. The cake is a moist dark chocolate filled with a layers of dark chocolate ganache and chocolate ganache meringue buttercream and covered in a Madagascar Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream.

Thank you so much everyone!! I really do wish I had more cakes to make as I just love putting them all together. I do need to learn how to cover cakes in fondant thought. Decorating buttercream cream cakes can be challenging especially when I want to decorate as if the cakes were covered in fondant. Lol. Your nice compliments are very encouraging!
