Many of my friends and my auntie fought breast cancer. They were able to overcome the disease because they have a lot of support from family and friends and they, themselves, are very strong-willed people and have a positive attitude to fight cancer. My cake inspired by their strong will to fight and also I found many breast cancer campaign have the same message ‘Fight Like A Girl’. So based on that I made female figurine with the pose of fighting and the banner for the message. She’s bold but wearing slayer to cover her head because of the chemotheraphy but she’s still pretty and strong mind to fight. I put pink carnation flower because one of its flower meaning says I’ll always be there for you. So I would like to express to my friends and everyone fighting cancer that I’ll always be there for them. After all the whole its cake express sweet, pretty and strong will as the part of the character of woman.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, an annual campaign designed to raise awareness of this disease that affects so many.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide with nearly 1.7 million new cases diagnosed in 2012.
In the United States alone, more than 200,000 women get breast cancer and more than 40,000 women die from the disease each year.
In the spirit of the month we have “gone pink” and each of us has created a pink cake that features a pink ribbon. All of these cakes were created with the kind sponsorship of Satin Ice Fine Foods.
To help raise money we have assembled 3 prize packages from 15 different sponsors that will be raffled. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The raffle will run throughout the month of October. Tickets are $5 each and each increment of $5 donated will count as another entry. The more money donated, the greater your chance to win!
