I had so much fun making this cake! This was the cake I made for our lovely daughter Leah. From the front it’s the cake she asked for for her 20th birthday – something in black and white, sophisticated. And I love the bold statement of the bright orange and green flowers. The back was a little surprise for her and was my way of saying that however grown up she gets, she’ll always be our little girl. It’s a scene from ‘Guess how much I love you’, which was published the year she was born and is also 20 years old.

The cake is a four layer chocolate cake with salted caramel and vanilla buttercream cake. I used an airbrush to stencil the design on the front and then handpainted the hares on the back. Hope you like it x
