A cake inspired by the Japanese tradition: green lustre for the tiers with golden stenciled details, a reference to traditional kimono’s textures. For the floral decorations, I used sprays with sugar camellias, camellia leaves and stemona japonica. Special decorative detail is the Tama kanzashi (Japanese hairpin decoration) used to match the floral sprays.
