Hi, my name is Mariska hoogeboom van Bers (26).
I live in a small town in Holland with my husband and our 2 year old son.
I have been making cakes for about 6 years now. It started out as a hobby.
But for the last five years I have made my hobby into my own company called Kaatje
Fondant. I love the smile of a child that is so happy with a cake I made.

The cake I have made is kind of a story.
In my mind I saw the mice living as a family in the pumpkin.
So I made the pumpkin their home, surrounded by all kinds of stuff to create this cake with an autumn theme.
